This Project showcases a blend of traditional architectural grandeur and contemporary sophistication, resulting in a residence that balances timeless and quiet modern luxury. The harmonious interplay of these elements reflects a deep commitment to creating an immersive non trendy environment that delight the senses and reflects the client’s lifestyle.
This project has been a work of enjoyment, patience and collaboration between the Client, Interior Designer and Architect, Rob Mills with the initial renovation done over 20 years ago. The clients brief for this recent update was to redefine the existing entertaining spaces of the house and merge timeless elegance with functionality, catering to the client’s desire for intimate family living whilst elevating their ability to host exceptional gatherings.
The new spaces retain the essence of existing colours, timbers, stones, and joinery but were updated. Plaster finishes to walls throughout these rooms have created a modern European undertone. The home's interiors feature a harmonious interplay of neutral tones to more dramatic colours, opulent materials and a mix of contemporary and antique furniture.
Each room was curated to evoke a sense of understated luxury and timeless glamour with bespoke elements and thoughtfully layered textures that ensure the design feels personal and inviting.
