In an area filled with excellence from wineries, restaurants to cafes, our aim was to uphold the extraordinary neighbourly standard whilst offering a unique experience. We were confined to working the new design within the existing building structure. The new interiors pay homage to the rich history of goat herding that date back 9000 years when the Moors brought goats to the Loire Valley. Fun, quirky qualities reminiscent of the goats themselves was injected into many interior elements. Large natural straw pendants, French parasol green fringe lights, hanging raffia lights sit alongside the plush muted Aubusson tapestry wallpaper, natural stone, fringing, velvets, and leather banquettes. To keep the environmental conscious and the integrity of Main Ridge Dairy, natural materials were used, all furniture was repurposed along with logs seats made from fallen trees.
